You will receive a written assessment of your manuscript's strengths and weaknesses, including suggestions for improvement. The manuscript itself will not be marked or line edited.

Line Edits and Manuscript Evaluation

Often, authors do not know how to fix problem areas or they have difficulty recognizing trouble spots. Line editing works at the sentence and paragraph level to improve word choice, rhythm, and structure. A Line Edit and Evaluation includes thorough line editing and a written assessment of the manuscript. Please email a sample chapter so the level of editing required can be determined and a price can be quoted.

College Application Essays, Short Articles, and Website Copy

Private Tutoring

Private tutoring in essay writing, creative writing, book plotting, and editing is now available for middle grade and high school students and adults. Fee: $75.00 per hour.

General Instructions

Manuscripts, articles, and essays must be double-spaced with one-inch margins. Use 12-point, Courier, Courier New, or Times Roman font. Indent paragraphs five spaces. Headers must be on each page beginning with page two, and should include the author's last name, manuscript title or keywords from the title, and page number.

Karen offers online editing using Track Changes, or you can mail her a hard copy of your manuscript. Postal address will be given after the first chapter has been emailed and the price has been agreed upon. Karen can be reached at AuthorAriellaMoon@gmail.com.
